KSE Radio Ventures, a division of KSE Media Ventures, has agreed to acquire 5kW Oldies KRWZ-AM (Cruisin' Oldies 950)/Denver from Entercom. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. KSE Radio Ventures adds KRWZ to its three Denver-based stations, including Hot AC KIMN-FM (100.3), Classic Hits KXKL-FM (105.1) and Country KWOF-FM (92.5 The Wolf).
"The addition of AM 950 to our recently purchased radio stations, here in Denver, made perfect sense. KRWZ has a long and rich history within the radio business here in Colorado and we are very excited to add to our media holdings," said KSE Media Ventures President/CEO Matt Hutchings. "Future plans for this station will be developed in the coming months and implemented, once we assume management of the station, which is estimated to be in first quarter of 2016."
KSE Radio Ventures was represented by broker Clifton Gardiner & Company.
