VCY America Acquires WJBR (Mix 99.5) in Wilmington DE

VCY America has agreed to acquire 50kW AC WJBR (Mix 99.5) in Wilmington, DE to from Beasley Media Group for $5 million. The tranasaction gives VCY America a signal that covers not only Wilmington, but puts a city grade signal in Philadelphia. WJBR-FM was Beasley's only station in Wilmington market. However it owns a seven-station cluster in nearby Philadelphia.

Michael J. Bergner of Bergner & Co. was brokered the transaction.
