Apps for Rising Through the Ranks Open Until May 31

As previously announced, this year's Rising Through the Ranks program from the Radio Advertising Bureau (RAB), dedicated to support the advancement of women in radio, will begin online on August 13, followed by the in-person event on August 20-22 in Nashville. Applications are being accepted until 5pm on Friday, May 31.

Current speakers include:

  • Hartley Adkins, president, market groups, iHeartMedia
  • Kristin Cantrell, owner, Seven Mountains Media and CapCity Communications
  • Erica Farber, immediate past president and chief executive officer, RAB
  • Kelli Frieler, owner, Vibrant Impact and director, Guaranty Digital Media
  • Kim Guthrie, division president, iHeartMedia
  • Kim Johnson, vice president of professional development, RAB
  • Susan Larkin, chief operating officer, Audacy
  • Ruth Presslaff, board president, Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio
  • Jeff Schmidt, senior vice president, professional development, RAB
  • Brooke Williams, senior vice president, membership, RAB
  • Linnae Young, EVP operations and revenue development, Salem Media Group.
Sessions will include topics as:
  • Building Your Personal Brand
  • It's Your Turn to Rise
  • The Heart and Art of Coaching
  • Managing Personality Styles
