KPNT/St. Louis' Woody and Ravey Heading to L.A.

KPNT-FM (105.7 The Point)/St. Louis has announced that Woody and Ravey of the Woody and Rizz Morning Show (WAR) have accepted a position with Clear Channel's KYSR-FM (Alt 98.7)/Los Angeles to form a new morning show there. Concurently, former co-host Scott Rizzuto has accepted the position as the new morning host at 105.7 The Point beginning April 1 with Tony Patrico as co-host and producer.

"We are sad that Woody is leaving and happy for the opportunity that he has in L.A.," said Senior VP/General Manager John Beck. "I am also very excited and elated that Scott Rizzuto and Tony Patrico have agreed to take over the Point morning show and build on the successful formula that has made the show number one in St. Louis for a long time. We will miss Woody but I know that Scott Rizzuto will knock the ball out of the park for the Point morning show."

"As sad as we are to see Woody leave, we are also excited for the opportunity he has in Los Angeles. While Woody has done a tremendous job for us at the Point and we look forward to continued success with Scott Rizzuto and Tony Patrico taking over the show," added Program Director, Tommy Mattern.

Woody will remain on the Point morning show until April 1 and then Rizzuto and Patrico will take over. All other elements of the morning show will remain in place.
