Tim Parker moves to mornings on Classic Rock WAFX-FM (106.9 The Fox)/Norfolk replacing Troy Brimmer. Most recently, he was the longtime afternoon host on co-owned Tidewater Communications Rock WNOR-FM (FM 99). Parker will continue to handle Music Director duties for WNOR. Stephen Hill assumes FM 99 afternoons until a replacement is named.
Tidewater/Norfolk Brand Manager Mike Beck said, "Tim is one of the most experienced and versatile air personalities in the area with a skill set that is ideal for mornings on The Fox. Tim will continue to be the MD for FM99 and he'll be very involved with the Lunatic Luau (our annual music festival). We are very fortunate to have someone with this range and depth of talent."
