John Govia Returns to WPIA/Peoria for Nights

Advanced Media Partners announced the return of "Govia Radio," hosted by John Govia (pictured) from 6-10pm on CHR WPIA-FM (98.5 Kiss FM)/Peoria, IL. Govia served the company in various capacities before leaving in 2011 and rejoins as the host of the night show. Concurrently, night host Liam McCluskey moves up to afternoon drive. Both began their new duties on May 4.

"This is an amazing opportunity for us to add a major market talent with incredible roots in Peoria," said cluster OM Scott Hecathorn. "Liam has shown a great interest in helping us create a great sounding product with his night show. Now he'll have the chance to help us create a great sounding product all day long" as he takes over music scheduling duties.

Also joining AMP in a fulltime capacity is Amber Miller who will handle Promotions Director duties immediately after her graduation from Bradley University. "Amber has risen from a street teamer folding t-shirts to running the department. She's truly a superstar in the making," added Hecathorn. "I couldn't be more excited about the possibilities we create with these moves."
