Cumulus Media names longtime Washington, DC-area air personality Kristie McIntyre to nights on WRQX-FM (Mix 107.3) from 7-midnight beginning Monday, May 2. This marks a return to WRQX for McIntyre, who was an air personality for the station from 2005-2010, under previous station ownership. McIntyre joins Cumulus from Hearst Television, where she was a news anchor and reporter for WBAL-AM.

Prior to WBAL, McIntyre was midday host for CBS Radio's WIAD-FM (94.7 Fresh FM) and an entertainment reporter for WNEW-FM (All News 99.1). She has also been an air personality and Operations Manager for CBS Radio/Baltimore's WQSR-FM (mornings) and WXYV-FM (middays). A graduate of DePauw University, McIntyre has held on-air posts at WPLJ-FM/New York, WERQ-FM (92Q)/Baltimore, and WENS-FM/Indianapolis.

WRQX Program Director Louie Diaz said, "We are very excited to welcome Kristie McIntyre back home to D.C. and Mix 107.3. Kristie is another great veteran air personality, and is a fantastic addition to our live and local air staff at MIX 107.3."

McIntyre added, "How sweet it is to return to Mix 107.3. This is a lesson in never, ever burning bridges. What an incredible opportunity to work again with "old" friends: Jack Diamond, Jimmy Alexander, Erica Hilary, Jason Kidd and Louie Diaz."
