John Martin & Jason Smith Join 92.9 ESPN/Memphis

Entercom Memphis today announced the addition of John Martin and Jason Smith to its weekday lineup on 92.9 FM ESPN/680 AM beginning in October. Martin is the youngest sports host in a Top 50 market in America and has been with 92.9 FM ESPN since 2013. Smith is an award-winning reporter who brings more than a decade of experience in the Memphis sports landscape and comes to 92.9 FM ESPN after spending the last six years at The Commercial Appeal as the University of Memphis basketball beat writer.

Martin and Smith, who were once colleagues at The Commercial Appeal, will host their show middays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Smith will also contribute to The 92.9 Line, the online home for written content and breaking news. Assistant program director Jon Roser will produce.
