KFSO-FM (La Preciosa 92.9) Fresno adds "El Gallo Por La Manana Morning Show," weekdays from 6-10am. Hosted by veteran air personality and programmer Jose "El Gallo" Gadea, the program also features co-host Emilio "El Vitaminas" Gomez. In addition to hosting mornings, Gadea will continue to serve as Program Director for KFSO. The station's Regional Mexican programming is syndicated out of Fresno to multiple iHeartMedia California outlets.

"As we searched for the next great Spanish language morning show for La Preciosa 92.9, we found the perfect choice was already in house serving as the Program Director," said Area Senior VP/Programming Steve Weed. "Jose's winning record of morning show success in major markets, combined with his deep knowledge of the La Preciosa brand, made the decision easy."

Prior to joining iHM/Fresno in November, 2016, Gadea previously worked as Program Director for Uniradio, where he managed a five-station market. He began his broadcast career in 1983 in Tijuana, Baja California in Mexico as an air personality for several radio stations. In 1989, he emigrated to the U.S., where he continued working as an air personality in Los Angeles and Fresno. Gadea has also served as a Program Director at radio stations for Univision, Emmis, Border Media and Heftel.

"I'm thrilled for the opportunity to help orchestrate 'El Gallo Por La Manana' and to wake up with the Hispanic community in Fresno," said Gadea. "I love everything about radio but hosting morning shows has always been a true passion of mine. I can't wait to continue that passion with the La Preciosa 92.9 morning team."
