Curtis Media Group's WBBB-FM (96.1 BBB) Raleigh taps Morgan Thomas to host mornings on the Adult Hits outlet beginning November 20. Thomas is a morning radio vet in the Triangle including co-host of the "Mike & Morgan Show" on co-owned Country WQDR-FM from 2001 until 2004. In 2004, Morgan moved to KSON-FM San Diego as morning co-host, continuing in that role until 2010. Her return to WBBB is a homecoming of sorts, as she co-hosted the "Morgan and Mad Dog Show" at WKIX for several years.

Senior VP/WBBB General Manager David Stuckey commented, "Morgan is a proven major market personality, and I am very pleased to welcome her back to Raleigh on 96.1 BBB." He continued, "Developing our morning show to match the stations incredible ratings performance is our next step in making WBBB the dominant radio brand in the Triangle."

Thomas added, "When a listener invites you into their car or into their kitchen or into their workplace through their radio, that's special. It's a very special relationship. You get to share life. I miss that -- and I'm excited to dive back into my hometown of Raleigh."
