Albany's 99.5 The River has announced today that Tracy Villaume will join its morning show, effective March 5. "Kevin & Tracy in the Morning" will broadcast weekdays 5:30 - 10 AM. She replaces Shanna, who moves to iHeartMedia Milwaukee's FM106.1, Milwaukee's Best Country!

"Kevin & Tracy in the Morning" will feature Kevin Rush and Villaume and broadcast a variety of today's top artists like Ed Sheeran, P!NK, Bon Jovi and more. Additionally, content will include the Celebrity Birthday and Secret Sound Games, and local news, weather and traffic.

"We will miss Shanna, but we are also excited to see her advance within iHeartMedia," said Randy McCarten, Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia Albany. "We are lucky to have someone as talented as Tracy already in our building. Kevin and Tracy will pick up where Kevin and Shanna left off and continue to wake up the Capital Region with a lot of fun each morning."

Prior to joining 99.5 The River, Villaume served as news anchor and reporter for iHeartMedia Albany's News Radio 810 & 103.1 WGY, The Capital Region's Breaking News, Traffic & Weather Station. She also served as a news reporter for local TV station WTEN. Villaume previously worked event management where she planned high profile events for organizations such as the National Association of Broadcasters and NBC Universal. She is a graduate of American University.

"I am excited for the opportunity to work alongside such talent," said Villaume. "I'm looking forward to being a part of delivering the variety of music and up-beat content The River is known for each morning."
