Ed Lover to Launch on WBMX-FM (104.3 Jams) Chicago

Entercom announces the launch of "The Ed Lover Morning Show" on WBMX-FM (104.3 Jams) Chicago. The industry veteran will host the station's debut morning show along with lifelong Chicagoan Jennifer Farina, known as "Jen BT." The show will air weekdays from 6-10am CT beginning Thursday, April 12. Ed Lover is a Hip Hop Hall of Famer who co-hosted MTV's "Yo! MTV Raps," with Doctor Dre, hosted the syndicated "The Morning Show," with Ed, Lisa, and Dre on WQHT-FM (Hot 97)/New York, and most recently hosted the syndicated "The Ed Lover Show."

"Ed Lover is as smooth as his name and we're looking forward to having him take the helm of mornings on Chicago's #1 station for throwbacks," said Senior VP/Market Manager Jimmy de Castro. "His deep connection and knowledge of classic hip-hop and R&B along with his energy and drive will help Chicagoans start their mornings on the right note."

"It is my honor and privilege to be the new morning voice of 104.3 Jams," stated Lover. "I promise to bring laughter and fun to the city of Chicago. I can't wait to immerse myself into the Windy City."

Farina is a Chicago native who held the Assistant Program Director role at WNUA-FM, as well as the Programming Assistant role at iHeartMedia/Chicago. Her work also includes voice-overs in the Chicago market. She most recently worked at the not-for-profit Community and Economic Development Association of Cook County (CEDA).
