National Emmy award-winning news analyst, journalist, broadcaster and professor, Jack Lessenberry, is returning to radio and will begin hosting a two-hour show from 9:00AM - 11:00AM on Detroit's WFDF 910 AM Superstation.
Last month, Lessenberry resigned from Michigan Radio, a National Public Radio affiliate in Ann Arbor, and the Detroit Metro Times in the wake of allegations of decades of inappropriate behavior. The longtime journalism instructor at Wayne State University also stepped aside from his duties there while the university investigates reported misbehavior.
"I'm excited to have Jack, the father of journalism, who taught many of my staff here at my media companies, join the 910AM Superstation family," said Kevin Adell, CEO 910AM. "Jack will bring a wealth of in-depth knowledge and expertise to the station."
"For my part, I am excited to be part of the exciting future that Kevin and his team are building at 910," said Lessenberry. "We're going to be doing some things you might never expect, shake people up and make them think, and the goal is never to be boring."
