WGKX (KIX 106)/Memphis Hires Renee Castle Morning Co-Host

Renee Castle is appointed morning co-host on Country WGKX-FM (KIX 106) in Memphis. She joins host Andrew "Latty" Latimer, who debuted on KIX 106 in mornings last May. The on-air team will entertains Memphis Country radio fans weekdays from 6-100am. Castle was previously night talent at Country WKLB-FM in Boston. Prior to that, she was on-air at co-owned Country WKDF-FM. Castle, a former actor and television producer, has also been heard on Country KRTY-FM in San Jose and at AC WJXA-FM in Nashville.

Cumulus Memphis Vice President/Market Manager Morgan Bohannon said, "Renee is a pro and brings a lot of energy to the show. She and Latty had instant chemistry and sound great together."

KIX 106 Program Director Chad Heritage commented, "I'm very excited to have Renee join the KIX 106 morning show. Her experience, passion for radio and for country music will only help make our brand even stronger. She's a team player and she is a great fit for our team here in Memphis."
