WXOS-FM (101 ESPN) in St. Louis is reshaping its weekday programming with a new morning show titled "The Morning After," set to air from 7-11am CT. The show will feature St. Louis radio veteran Tim McKernan, Fox 2 Sports Director Martin Kilcoyne, former KMOV Sports Anchor Doug Vaughn and producer Jackson Burkett. McKernan, who joined Hubbard Radio St. Louis in 2022, has been a familiar voice since 2004 and recently hosted "Balloon Party" on 101 ESPN.

101 ESPN Operations Manager Tommy Mattern said, "We're thrilled to bring 'The Morning After' to our audience. With a lineup like Tim McKernan, Martin Kilcoyne, Doug Vaughn, and Jackson Burkett, we are confident the show will significantly enhance the morning radio experience in St. Louis." He added that the show will delve into detailed sports discussions, feature interviews with prominent athletes, and continue the engaging banter that has made it a fan favorite.

The introduction of "The Morning After" comes with notable departures from the station. Randy Karraker, who has been a key figure since the station's inception in January, 2009, is leaving after more than 15 years. Additional departures include Brooke Grimsley, former Cardinals announcer Dan McLaughlin, morning show producer Matt Rocchio, and Ken Strode, all part of the previous morning lineup.
