Veteran radio personality Anthony Cumia is returning to New York radio, joining 77WABC with a new weekend show. "The Anthony Cumia Show" will air Sundays from 8-10pm.ET, starting this Sunday. The program will also be available for streaming on wabcradio.com and through the 77WABC App.

"I am beyond thrilled to join 77WABC," Cumia said. "They are the only ones doing great radio, and I'm looking forward to having a blast and connecting with my fans. I'm grateful to John (Catsimatidis) and Chad (Lopez) for offering me this opportunity. We're going to have a great time."

Chad Lopez, President of Red Apple Media and 77WABC Radio, added "Anthony has a strong and loyal following who have missed him on New York radio," Lopez said. "Anthony brings another element of entertainment to our weekend programming, which is about having fun."

Cumia has been a well-known figure in talk radio since 1994, when he co-hosted Opie and Anthony alongside Greg "Opie" Hughes. The show gained popularity on WBAB in Long Island, WAAF in Boston, and later WNEW-FM in New York City, where it became a syndicated afternoon program. In 2004, the show transitioned to satellite radio on XM (now SiriusXM). Since 2014, Cumia has independently hosted The Anthony Cumia Show through a subscription-based digital platform.
