Market vet Bill Schulz is set to change stations in Reno, NV, moving his morning show from KLCA (96.5 Alice) to KRNO (Sunny 106.9), weekdays from 5:30-10am, starting Thursday, March 27. Schulz, along with his co-host Jlynn, will transition to their new home after a distinguished run at Alice, making this move Schulz's fourth stint within the Reno Media Group's cluster.

Schulz, who has been a defining voice in Reno radio for nearly three decades, expressed his enthusiasm about the move. "This will be my fourth radio home with Reno Media Group and it's exciting to now be on the air at Reno's top-rated radio station," he stated. His career in the city began 29 years ago at KODS (103.7 The River), followed by a period at KWNZ (K-Wins at 97.3), before his long tenure at Alice starting in 2002.

In addition to his on-air role, Schulz also serves as the Vice President of Programming and Operations for Reno Media Group's nine-station group, a position he took on earlier this year.

Kara Brown, Vice President and General Manager of Reno Media Group, highlighted the community impact of Schulz's work. "The Alice Morning Show over the years has prided itself on not only being fun and entertaining, but also being a big part of the community," Brown said. She praised the dynamic duo of the veteran Schulz and the vibrant Jlynn for their engaging presence.

Landon Miller, who currently hosts the afternoon show on Alice, will succeed Schulz and Jlynn as the new morning host.
