Rico Returns to Oxnard-Ventura as KBBY Assistant PD Cumulus Media has appointed Jaime Rangel, known on-air as "Rico," as Assistant Program Director and afternoon host for AC 95.1 KBBY-FM in Oxnard-Ventura, CA. He debuted on KBBY this week and can be heard weekdays from 2-7pm. The move marks a return to the Oxnard-Ventura County airwaves for Rico, who is well known in the market as a longtime co-host of the Rico & Mambo Morning Show.

Sommer Frisk, Vice President and Market Manager for Cumulus Oxnard-Ventura, said Rico's return brings experience and local connection to the station, citing his familiarity with the community and established audience following.

Rico said he is pleased to be back in the market and looking forward to working closely with station leadership while reconnecting with local listeners and the community.
