Report: Howard Stern Back to Broadcast Radio?

Bay area media commentator Rich Lieberman says the big rumor in New York is that Howard Stern is mulling the real possibility of returning to broadcast radio, as his $500 million deal with Sirius is nearing expiration and "the novelty of satellite radio has waned considerably." There are those who wonder where the "King of all Media" will wind up, or whether he even wants to get back to the radio business.
Stern still has a loyal fan base and millions of listeners, says Lieberman, from the streets of Manhattan to the San Francisco. If Stern were to re-emerge on commercial radio, he predicts a major syndicator will work the deal, such as Talk Radio Network or Dial-Global.
Lieberman expects to hear Stern back on broadcast radio sometime in 2010.
