Stolz Flips KNGY (Energy 92.7)/San Francisco to CHR
Ed Stolz' Golden State Broadcasting flips recent acquisition Dance KNGY-FM (Energy 92.7)/San Francisco to mainstream CHR as KREV-FM "92.7 The Revolution." Stolz, who assumed control of the outlet under a Local Marketing Agreement (LMA), is paying $6.5 million for the class A facility licensed to Alameda, CA. With the flip, the entire air staff is out.
Stolz recently acquired a CHR in Las Vegas a part of a $15.25 million deal that included three stations: Classic Country KBET-AM (790), Country KCYE-FM (104.3) and the intellectual property of Rhythmic CHR KFRH-FM/Las Vegas.
