790 The Ticket Ups Hochman, Zaslow to Wakeups

Lincoln Financial Media Sports outlet WAXY-AM (790 The Ticket)/Miami names radio veterans Marc Hochman and Jonathan Zaslow as morning co-hosts (6-10am), effective immediately. Hochman was Executive Producer of Dan LeBatard's afternoon show. Zaslow most recently hosted his own nightly show on the station and anchored pre-game, halftime and post-game coverage of the Miami Heat's run to the NBA Championship.

"During our vast national search, it became apparent that Hochman & Zaslow had on-air chemistry that was infectious," said Program Director Tod Castleberry. "Zaslow's passion for all things Miami sports and Hochman's ability to find the fun and absurdity in today's sports world will make for very entertaining listening."

"Having been part of the LeBatard Show for the past eight years, my goal is to bring that same mix of sports and pop culture to mornings," added Hochman. "Getting the chance to start the day with South Florida sports fans is awesome for someone who grew up here and loves Miami," said Zaslow.
