Chris Malone Named WBZJ-FM (96.9 BZJ)/Raleigh PD

Chris Malone (aka CJ Malone) is appointed Program Director of Curtis Media Group's Urban AC WBZJ-FM (96.9 BZJ) Raleigh, effective immediately. Most recently, Malone worked for Urban AC WQOX-FM/Memphis as brand manager and afternoon personality. 100kw WBZJ, licensed to Goldsboro, NC, launched on January 3 with syndicated Steve Harvey airing in mornings and Keith Sweat's "Sweat Hotel" will soon join for evenings, while Malone will host afternoons.
