L&L Broadcasting flips WXYY-FM (Y107.9)/Savannah-Hilton Head to "Y100" moving to new acquisition WSSJ-FM at 100.1. Tony Bristol will program the new station, which will still be home to "The Bert Show" mornings from 5-10am, Patty Steele in middays and Tony Bristol in afternoons. The New Y100 will deliver current hits mixed with the very best from the 90's and 2k, without the rap.
VP/Market Manager Gigi South commented on the launch, "We are so excited to acquire WSSJ which enables us to serve even more of the Savannah community. The switch is on."
"We're very excited to continue to piece together our winning team that Savannah can be proud of and call their home town radio station," said Y100 Program Director Tony Bristol.
L&L Broadcasting Director of Programming Scott Mahalick added, "Y100 will bring a great jolt of energy and vibe to Savannah/Hilton Head. Tony is the man when it comes to programming and creating a cool, hip and entertaining environment."
