Mike Salk Returns to KIRO-AM/Seattle as PD


Mike Salk returns to Bonneville's Sports KIRO-AM (710 ESPN Seattle)/Seattle as Program Director and on-air host replacing Brian Long. Most recently, he co-hosted afternoons at Entercom's Sports WEEI-FM/Boston. Previously, Salk co-hosted KIRO's midday "Brock and Salk Show" for three years. Additionally, he's previously worked at 890 ESPN/Boston and hosted numerous shows on the ESPN Radio Network.

Salk said, "I could not be more excited about this unique opportunity and the new challenge of running the programming at 710 ESPN Seattle. Even though I left Seattle last year, it never ceased being home. 710 ESPN Seattle is a nationally renowned sports station and this opportunity to lead it is an honor. The people in that building are special and I can't wait to reconnect with all of them."

At ESPN Radio, Salk teamed with ESPN NFL reporter Michael Smith to host "Countdown to Kickoff," ESPN Radio's NFL pre-game show and hosted "SportsCenter Saturday with Mike Salk." He has also hosted a variety shows for the ESPN Radio Network and was a contributor on ESPN News.
