iHeartMedia Debuts 'Sunny 106.3' in Colorado Springs


iHeartMedia/Colorado Springs rebrands AC KKLI-FM (K-Lite 106.3) to "Sunny 106.3," effective immediately. Sunny 106.3 is playing Christmas Music now through Christmas Day. After Christmas, the station will air music from the 80's to now, featuring artists like Maroon 5, Kelly Clarkson, Michael Jackson, P!NK, Madonna, Adele, Bruno Mars and Prince. The Sunny 106.3 lineup will feature longtime local hosts Captain Dan and Tammy Oakland in mornings.

"Southern Coloradoans enjoy more than 300 sunny days each year. The new name of the station is designed to match the feel of the music-bright and warm," said Operations Manager Paul Kelley. "We are excited to continue the Christmas Music tradition through the holidays, and to continue to be Southern Colorado's workday station of choice after Christmas."
