KQIE-FM/Riverside Flips to ''Old School 104.7''

Rhythmic CHR KQIE-FM (Q104.7) Riverside-San Bernadino flips to Rhythmic AC as "Old School 104.7" under Gold Coast VP/Programming & Operations Brian Davis (aka Big Bear). With the move, KQIE drops its simulcast of Gold Coast Rhythmic CHR KCAQ (Q104.7)/Oxnard-Ventura. Old School 104.7 is currently running without air personalities.

One of our affiliated companies currently has a similar format on our station in Oxnard-Ventura (KOCP), which has become very popular since its debut last August. KQIE will continue to be custom programmed specifically for Riverside-San Bernardiono. As a Southern California-owned company, we were able to make a decision quickly and we're confident that the Old School format will excite listeners and advertisers in the Inland Empire."
