iHM, Dodgers Launch AM 570 LA Sports/Los Angeles

iHeartMedia/Los Angeles and the Dodgers have announced the debut of the all-new "AM 570 LA Sports," effective immediately. The new baseball season will bring a new name, a new look, a re-brand, a re-launch and a new co-ownership with the Dodgers to the station formerly known as KLAC-AM (AM 570 Fox Sports). The station will be under the co-ownership of iHeartMedia and the Dodgers. AM 570 LA Sports will have a new logo and will also incorporate the new 2015 Dodgers slogan, "We Love LA!"

An extensive outdoor and mobile campaign will launch throughout the Southland, featuring the new AM 570 LA Sports logo with Vin Scully, Clayton Kershaw and Yasiel Puig. In addition, custom branded promos will also be heard across all eight iHeartMedia Los Angeles' stations.

AM 570 LA Sports will begin the day with Dan Patrick from 6-9am followed by the newly-created "LA Today with Bill Reiter and Leann Tweeden" from 9am-noon. Jay Mohr will fill the noon-3pm slot, while "Petros & Money" will air from 3-7pm. Another new addition, Dodger Talk featuring David Vassegh and Kevin Kennedy will now air immediately following Dodgers baseball games or at 7pm weekdays. The show will air year round starting with Spring Training and throughout the regular season to keep Dodger fans on top of the day's Dodger news and activities.

iHeartMedia/Los Angeles Market President Greg Ashlock stated, "This relationship with iHeartMedia and the Dodgers is made in Blue Heaven. We're excited about the synergistic opportunities between our music, sports and entertainment properties. The Dodgers, with their current leadership and commitment to the fans and community, represent everything that you'd want in a partner."

Dodgers President/CEO Stan Kasten added, "We are thrilled to partner with AM 570 LA Sports. We've had a wonderful relationship over the years and our new partnership will make it even stronger as we work together to bring Dodger fans the finest in LA Sports radio programming."
