Tripp West Takes MD/Middays at B98.5/Atlanta

Cox Media Atlanta's B98.5 has named Tripp West as its midday on-air personality and music director, effective immediately. West will broadcast during the 9 a.m.-2 p.m. slot and handle the music director duties as well. Tripp is a native of Savanah, Ga. and has been in Atlanta since 1997 with stops at WRDA, WYAY, 94.9 The Bull and most notably middays at Star 94 from 2002-2009.
"Over the past two years, we've watched Tripp become a true 'jack of all trades' at the station," said Chris Eagan, CMG Atlanta's Director of Branding and Programming for B98.5 and The River 97.1 FM. "He really understands how to engage our audience on air and on social. Tripp is loved by listeners, clients and his fellow CMG Atlanta employees!"
