Anthony Longo Named Cumulus Lexington OM

Cumulus Media/Lexington, KY, appoints WXZZ-FM Program Director and morning personality, Anthony Longo (aka Twitch) to the newly created post of Operations Manager for its five-station cluster there. Longo has been with WXZZ for the past 12 years in wakeups and his show is heard each morning through Westwood One.

General Manager Scott Frazier said, "What we want in an effective OM is someone who is passionate, energetic, creative and a leader experienced in multiple formats. Anthony "Twitch" Longo embodies all of these qualities in one dynamic package. I am excited to be working with him in this position."

Longo added, "It's an amazing feeling, and I'm honored to take on this new role. Getting this vote of confidence from Scott Frazier, Dave Crowl, Troy Hanson, and Mike McVay is truly the highlight of my career. Now, it's time to get to work."

Longo was promoted to WXZZ Program Director in 2011 and he previously hosted a syndicated evening show from KEGL-FM/Dallas. His career also includes radio positions in cities including Tampa, Orlando and San Francisco.
