Cumulus Media has re-signed KNBR-AM/San Francisco afternoon host Tom Tolbert to a multi-year contract. Tolbert joined the Sports outlet in 1996, where the Bay Area has listened to him weekdays afternoons from 3-7pm for the last 20 years. Tolbert is also the color announcer for all Golden State Warriors home games and performs interviews Warriors head coach, Steve Kerr, who was Tolbert's college teammate at Arizona.

A standout at the University of Arizona, Tolbert helped lead the Wildcats to a trip to the 1988 Final Four. He was a second round pick by the Charlotte Hornets in the NBA draft, and had stints with the Clippers, Hornets and the Golden State Warriors.

KNBR Operations Manager Lee Hammer said, "Tom has been a mainstay at KNBR 680, holding down the key afternoon drive slot for the past 20 years. I'm excited to announce that with this new deal, Tom will continue to entertain Bay Area sports fans for many years to come. As a former NBA player, Tom is a member of a small club of former athletes who have enjoyed tremendous success as a sports radio talk show host."

Tolbert added, "I'm incredibly fortunate to do what I do where I do it...Signing with KNBR for multiple years was a no-brainer."
