Martin Lorentzon Steps Down as Spotify Chairman

Spotify co-founder Martin Lorentzon will exit his role as Chairman of the streaming music service after 10 years. Lorentzon will remain as the board's Vice Chairman as CEO Daniel Ek assumes the Chairman post. The changes are ahead of a rumoured IPO for the company, which was founded in Stockholm, incorporated in the UK and has offices in New York where Ek is based. Sources say that the company is planning file by the end of this year, with a public listing in 2017.
