WABC-AM/New York adds veteran New York City broadcaster Sid Rosenberg as sports anchor for the "Imus in the Morning show." In addition to his new on-air role, Rosenberg will continue as co-host with Bernard McGuirk of "The Bernie and Sid Show," which airs on weekdays from 10am-noon ET. Rosenberg started his broadcasting career in 1997, and from 2001-2005, was a regular on Don Imus' show at crosstown WFAN-AM. The appointment follows the recent multi-year renewal of the "Imus In The Morning" show, which has aired on flagship WABC since 2007.
WABC Program Director Craig Schwalb said, "Sid's triumphant return to Imus In The Morning has reunited him with an incredibly gifted cast. Their collective chemistry is exceptional."
Rosenberg added, "I'm really excited to be back with Imus and the guys in the same role where it all started for me nearly 17 years ago."
