Steve Granato will assume Program Director responsibilities for Renda Broadcasting's four radio properties in its Southwest Florida market of Fort Myers-Naples. These include WWGR-FM (Gator Country 1019), WJGO-FM (1029BOBfm), WSGL-FM (Mix 104.7) and WGUF-FM (98.9 Naples FM Talk). Granato, a programming vet, previously served as Senior VP/Programming at iHeartMedia Youngstown with additional duties in Pittsburgh and Cleveland. In addition, he was PD for Renda's Pittsburgh properties in the early 1990s.
Granato said, "It's great to be back with Renda Broadcasting. I'm looking forward to providing a great product to the listeners of Southwest Florida."
"We are very happy to have Steve back with us," added General Manager Tony Renda, Jr. "He brings a wealth of large market experience to our four diverse brands."
Granato assumes responsibilities immediately from exiting Randy Savage. Savage, a 20-year veteran Renda Broadcasting team member, is now OM of Cumulus Broadcasting's Wilkes Barre cluster.
