WKLB-FM/Boston PD Mike Brophey Set to Retire

Beasley Media Group announces that Mike Brophey will retire as Program Director of Country WKLB-FM/Boston. In addition, his wife, longtime Assistant Program Director and Music Director Ginny Rogers will also step down and enjoy the summer with her family. Brophey, who was inducted into the Country Radio Hall of Fame in 2014, joined WKLB as PD in September, 1996 from WXTU/Philadelphia.
"Mike has been considering retiring from the day to day for some time," said VP/Market Manager Mary Menna. "They both have been instrumental to the evolution of the station over the years. We are very grateful to Mike and Ginny for everything they have done and wish them the very best in the next chapter of their lives."
