iHM Ups Dustin Fletcher to Director/Alternative

iHeartMedia elevates 10-year vetearn programmer Dustin Fletcher to Director of Alternative Rock Programming for St. Louis Region as well as the Program Director for Alternative KDXA-FM (ALT 106.3) Des Moines, effective immediately. He'll continue to serve as the Program Director for KLLT-FM (ALT 104.9) St. Louis, a position he has held since December, 2016. Prior to joining ALT 104.9, Fletcher served as PD/middays for co-owned WRXL-FM (X102) Richmond and PD for 96.1 The Planet.

"Nobody knows the Alternative Rock format and core audience better than Fletcher, who is a gifted programmer with unmeasurable creativity," said iHeartMedia St. Louis Senior VP/Programming A.J.

"Fletcher has already made a huge impact with ALT 104.9 in St. Louis during his short time in the market," added Region Senior VP/Programming St. Louis Region Greg Chance. "I'm positive he will continue to take our St. Louis Region Alternative Rock brands to new heights with his expanded role."

Fletcher has previously worked at stations including WFNX-FM in Boston, WFXH-FM in Savannah GA, WDYL-FM in Richmond VA and WFNZ-FM in Knoxville, TN.

"This is a huge opportunity leading our programming efforts at ALT 106.3 in Des Moines," said Fletcher. "I'm extremely proud of what we've done with ALT 104.9. The St. Louis Region has some of the most talented programming and air talent in radio and I'm excited for what we have in store."
