Scott Gaines Joins WKHX Atlanta as APD/Afternoons

Cumulus Media appoints veteran programmer and air personality Scott Gaines as Assistant Program Director and afternoon host for Country WKHX-FM (Kicks 101.5) Atlanta. Gaines moves from the company's co-owned cluster in Memphis, where he was afternoon host for Country WGKX-FM (Kix 106). Gaines will debut on Kicks 101.5 on September 5, weekdays from 3-7pm. Previously, he served as afternoon personality for sister WSM-FM (95.5 NASH Icon). He was also APD/MD and afternoon host for WDTW-FM (106.7 THE FOX) Detroit.

Cumulus Atlanta VP/Market Manager Sean Shannon said, "It's exciting to see a person of Scott's caliber join Kicks 101.5. Our listeners, clients and partners and staff all win with this move."
