CBS Radio News/Talk KXNT-AM Las Vegas and "The Heidi Harris Show" part ways after comments on her Facebook page about an ad featuring two men helping a baby walk. ABC 13 reports that the post for the ad was from the Clark County Department of Family Services, which was promoting child adoptions. The Heidi Harris Radio Show account wrote in part: "Babies who are eligible for adoption should go to MARRIED people of the opposite sex. That is the IDEAL situation for a baby, and political correctness, changing laws or attitudes cannot alter that REALITY."
A CBS Radio spokesperson confirmed that the show would no longer be on KXNT. In response to a listener email, KXNT replied, "Please note, effective immediately, The Heidi Harris Show will no longer air on KXNT."
