Megan Liberman Joins SiriusXM as Sr. VP/NT&E

Megan Liberman joins SiriusXM as Senior VP/News, Talk & Entertainment, effective October 2. She joins SiriusXM from Yahoo!, where she was VP and Editor in Chief of the Yahoo! News Group, responsible for all original news reporting. Prior to that, Liberman spent 13 years at the New York Times, most recently as Deputy News Editor, focused on digital initiatives and development, and before that as the Deputy Editor for the NYT Magazine.
In a statement Liberman said, "I am incredibly proud of the team that I built and the work they produced. I wish the new company all the best going forward."
In this new position, Liberman will oversee the company's news, talk, entertainment and comedy channels and will report to SiriusXM President and Chief Content Officer Scott Greenstein. She will be located in New York.
