iHM/Charlotte Names AJ PD for Channel 96.1 & The Lake

iHeartMedia has named A.J. as program drector for Charlotte's WHQC Channel 96.1 and WLKO 102.9 The Lake.
"Bringing A.J. to Charlotte is a game changer for the market," said Meg Stevens, Executive Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia. "He is passionate and creative as well as analytical and strategic. He's the perfect addition to team Charlotte."
A 20-plus year radio veteran, A.J. most recently served as the Regional Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia's St. Louis Region and day-to-day Program Director for Z107.7, St. Louis' No. 1 Hit Music Station, and Hallelujah 1600, Today's Gospel Hits: St. Louis. He has also held various programming roles in Richmond, VA; Norfolk, VA; Syracuse, NY; Rochester, NY; Albany, NY; Roanoke, VA; and Wilkes-Barre, PA. A.J. attended King's College in Wilkes-Barre, PA.
