Nate Bell Named PD for 97.9 WJLB and MIX 92.3/Detroit

iHeartMedia announced today that Nate Bell has been named Program Director of 97.9 WJLB, Detroit's Hip-Hop & R&B, and Mix 92.3, Detroit's R&B and Throwbacks, effective immediately. He will report to Tony Travatto, Regional Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia Detroit.

"We are so excited to have Nate back in our Urban programming brain trust," said Doc Wynter, Executive Vice President of Urban/Hip-Hop Programming Strategy for iHeartMedia's National Programming Group. "He was missed, but it was destiny for him to come back to iHeartMedia. Things are about to heat up in Detroit!"

Adding him to our team will undoubtedly help our listenership and advertisers." Bell most recently served as Operations Manager and Program Director for WGPR-FM, WDMK-FM and WPZR-FM in Detroit. He has also held programming roles in cities including New York, New Orleans, and Memphis as well as with iHeartMedia in Miami.
