SMG/Guam Ups Kyle Mandapat to Director of Radio Ops

Kyle Mandapat

KZGZ-FM (Power 98)/Guam morning host and FM Radio Operations Director Kyle Mandapat is elevated to overall Director of Radio Operations for the Sorensen Media Group. SMG owns four radio outlets in Guam, one in Saipan, the Pacific News Center and two television channels on Guam namely Fox6 and ABC7. Mandapat will oversee the operations of KPXP-FM (Power 99)/Saipan, as well as Power 98, KGUM-FM KatFM, KZGU The Shark and now KGUM-AM (Newstalk K57) in Guam, a U.S. territory.

Mandapat started working for SMG ten years ago as a sales executive. He later became an air personality on Power 98. Mandapat said, "I am so thrilled for this new challenge. We have the greatest group of radio professionals in the region and I am so excited for what we have got planned for the future."
