Toshamakia Acevedo Named KQKS/Denver MD/Afternoons

Toshamakia Acevedo

Entercom appoints of Toshamakia Acevedo as Music Director for Rhythmic CHR KQKS-FM (KS 107.5)/Denver, effective July 30. In addition, Acevedo will also host the station's afternoon slot from 3-7pm MT. She succeeds APD/MD and afternooner Michael Buhrman, who recently became PD for co-owned KSFM-FM/Sacramento. Acevedo was previously an air personality for sister WJMH-FM (102 Jamz) Greensboro, NC. Prior to joining Entercom, she held on-air roles at Sirius XM Radio and Radio One's WRNB/Philadelphia.

"We are excited to welcome Toshamakia to the Denver team," said Entercom Denver Senior VP/Market Manager John Fullam. "We believe her energy on-air and passion for being involved in the community will resonate a great deal with Denver music fans."
