Westwood One is launching a new podcast with CBS Sports Radio personality Jim Rome and former NFL defensive lineman Trevor Pryce. Entitled "RPO" (Rome Pryce Opinion, a play on Run, Pass, Option), the podcast will feature Rome and Pryce's opinionated take on the events and activities of the 2018-2019 NFL season and offer insight on how an NFL player may be experiencing the season as it unfolds. The program launched on Monday, September 10 and new episodes of this 20-week series will drop every Monday during the NFL season through Super Bowl LIII.

"Jim and Trevor will engage listeners with their authentic voices and insights beyond the games during this NFL season," said Suzanne Grimes, Executive Vice President, Marketing for Cumulus Media and President, Westwood One. "Jim Rome is a king of Sports talk and one of the leading opinion-makers of his generation. His legions of passionate fans, known as ‘clones,' know and respect that he doesn't hold back."

"I have always worked alone but when the opportunity to work with a two-time Super Bowl winner and a presence like Trevor Pryce presented itself, I jumped," said Rome. "He's hungry, fearless and has takes for days. This one is a no-brainer and I know it's going to deliver."

Rome's syndicated radio program, "The Jim Rome Show," aka "The Jungle," airs on more than 200 affiliates from 12-3pm ET weekdays. It's also simulcast on CBS Sports Network. This is Rome's fifth year as a contributor with CBS-TV's NFL on CBS programming. He also hosted Jim Rome on Showtime for four years.

Trevor Wesley Pryce II is a former NFL player who played 14 seasons in the NFL as a defensive lineman and is currently an author. Pryce played college football for the University of Michigan before transferring to Clemson University. He was selected by the Denver Broncos in the first round of the 1997 NFL Draft and played with the Broncos, the Baltimore Ravens and the New York Jets before retiring in 2011. In 2013 Pryce began a second career as a professional writer.
