Sun Broadcast Group launches a new live experience division called SBG Events. The new venture hits the road in 2019 with the announcement of several tours and events sponsorship programs to complement SBG's current audio lineup. SBG Events will work in tandem with their partner's existing tour and sponsorship teams to offer SBG advertisers on-air, on-stage and local activation throughout 2019.

"Our partners and advertisers are always looking to enhance their presence on the radio through unique and exclusive opportunities," said SBG President and Founder Jason Bailey. "We worked diligently with our shows, hosts and artists to provide the ultimate way to create a memorable experience for fans, listeners and customers."

The following experiences have been announced:

  • The Jim Brickman Tour featuring Brickman's Holiday concert series across 35 cities, on-air Christmas special (a Joyful Christmas) and a free Holiday single download.
  • The Michael Baisden Live Tour's include a 20-city Women's Small Business Tour, One Million Mentoring Campaign, Cigar Bar Meet and Greet and empowering relationship seminars based on his latest book, "Woman Up."
  • The Girls World Expo Tour in over 30 cities in the U.S., showcasing activities for girls 11-18 during one-day events, workshops and displays.

VP/Programming and Affiliate Relations Rich O'Brien added, "It made sense for SBG to add this service to our 2019 lineup and continue to take our partners to a whole new level of engagement. We're already working to add new talents, dates and exciting events."
