Jay Michaels Named PD/Afternoons for Q97.3 Shreveport

Jay Michaels

Cumulus Media appoints veteran radio programmer Jay Michaels as Program Director of Hot AC KQHN-FM (Q97.3) Shreveport, LA. He'll also handle weekday afternoons on Q97.3 from 3-7pm. Michaels previously spent six years as Program Director for co-owned Classic Hits WJJK and CHR WYNG (Energy 93.9) Indianapolis. Prior to that, he worked for CHR WMGI-FM (Mix FM) Terre Haute, IN, in mornings, and before that, midday host and programming assistant at CHR WREZ-FM Paducah, KY. His previous on-air stints include Seattle, Evansville and Louisville.

Cumulus Shreveport VP/Market Manager Aaron Criswell said, "We are extremely excited to have a proven programmer join us in Shreveport, Louisiana. Jay brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our cluster along with a superabundance of ideas on how to win."
