Christine Malovetz Named APD for ALT 92.3/New York

Entercom has promoted Christine Malovetz to Assistant Program Director of ALT 92.3 (WNYL-FM) in New York, effective immediately. She will also continue to host the station's midday show, weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. ET.
"It's an honor to accept this position at New York's NEW Alternative," said Malovetz. "I'm excited to continue building a strong alternative brand alongside Mike Kaplan and our talented ALT team."
"Christine has been a huge contributor to the team. She's been my true partner in crime and I'm thrilled for her on this much-deserved promotion," said Kaplan, SVP of Programming, Entercom New York. "Christine has her finger on the pulse of alternative music in New York and we look forward to the station's continued growth under the leadership of this team."
Malovetz first joined ALT 92.3 in 2018 as an air personality. Her radio career spans 20 years, including stops at Q101 in Chicago, former Philadelphia station Y100 and WBRU in Providence, RI. In 2014, she was recognized by the National Alliance on Mental Health as Chicago's "Volunteer of the Year." She continues to work towards mental health awareness and suicide prevention through Entercom's "I'm Listening" campaign.
