MediaBrew to Purchase Four Stations from Great Lakes Radio

MediaBrew Communications Marquette, LLC has agreed to purchase radio properties and new media businesses serving the Upper Peninsula of Michigan from Great Lakes Radio, Inc. The group includes stations WFXD (FM & HD) Marquette, WKQS-FM Negaunee, WRUP (FM) Palmer, and translators W291CJ (FX) Marquette, W260AG (FX) lshpeming, W248BU (FX) lshpeming, and W286BC (FX) Marquette, all in Michigan. The total sales price is $2,000,000.
Indianapolis based MediaBrew Communications is headed by Charles Williams, an active owner/operator in the Hoosier State for many years. Great Lakes Radio Owner and President Todd Noordyk is a long time Michigan broadcaster who has owned 26 stations over 36 years, and is retaining six other Michigan broadcast properties.
Bill Cate of the Little Rock office of Media Services Group served as the exclusive broker for the transaction, representing the seller.
