iHeartMedia appoints Adam Rivers as Program Director for its four-station cluster in New Haven, effective immediately. Most recently, he served as the Assistant Program Director and Music Director for WKCI-FM (KC101) and WKSS-FM (KISS 95-7) since 2013. River has also handled PD duties for WKSI-FM (KISS 98.3)/Winchester VA, a swing talent for WMAS-FM/Springfield MA and APD/Marketing Director and night host for WILI-FM/New London CT. He began his career at WKSS and is a graduate of Westfield State University.

"Over the past several years, Adam has truly been the backbone here at KC101 and a staple in Connecticut radio," said iHeartMedia Hartford Region President for Steve Honeycomb. "Adam's years of experience and the way he engages with his listeners go far beyond his afternoon drive show and we couldn't be happier to see him evolve into this new role here in New Haven, Connecticut."

"A special thanks to iHeartMedia New Haven and Hartford, the market leaders and everyone else who has played a continuing part in my development as a programmer and on-air talent," added Rivers. "I look forward to many years of continued success at iHeartRadio New Haven."
