Gen Media Partners (GMP) appoints Anny Mansfield to the newly-created position of Corporate Research Director. Mansfield, who has been with Gen Media Partners since its inception, will build out a company-wide research department. Her 20+ years in radio research includes previous stints at Katz Media's Univision National Radio Sales. She had been with McGavren Guild since 2007 when it became part of GMP in 2014.
"I am very pleased that we already had the right person on our team to lead research across Gen Media Partners," said GMP CEO Kevin Garrity. "Anny is exceptional at finding the data to develop marketing strategies that help our account executives deliver compelling stories and solutions about the power of radio to advertisers and their agencies, especially for new business development."
Mansfield added, "I am excited at the opportunity to work with the sales teams across all our radio repped and network divisions. Audio is experiencing a surge of attention from brand marketers and agency planners and buyers. This is a great time for radio, and I look forward to working with all our divisions."
Prior to her promotion, Mansfield was Director of Research for GMP, working with client radio broadcasters across General Market and Hispanic National Sales. In her new role, her responsibilities extend to Sun Broadcast Group, the network GMP purchased over two years ago.
