Marty Bender to Exit WOFX/Cincinnati as Program Director

Veteran media programmer Marty Bender is forming a new company, "Worst Consultant Ever," at worstconsultantever.com. To do so, Bender is stepping away from his position as Program Director and middays at Classic Rock WOFX (Fox 92.5) in Cincinnati. That exit will coincide with the end of his five-year WOFX contract on September 30.

Bender joined WOFX in Ocotber, 2016 from WSHE-FM/Chicago, where he was Program Director. Prior to that, he served as VP/Programming at Premiere Radio Networks, and was Executive Producer of syndicated "The Bob and Tom Show." Bender has also served as OM for WFBQ-WRZX-WNDE in Indianapolis and PD/mornings for WKRQ-FM (96 Rock)/Cincinnati.

Bender stated, "Cumulus in Cincinnati is one of the best clusters in radio and I encourage any passionate Classic Rock programmer to apply."
